Its many uses include: auto parts such as bumpers; housings for electrical appliances; battery boxes and cases for other machines; for raffia and monofilaments; and the manufacture of carpets, rope, woven sacks, and packaging tape. Able to withstand temperatures around 100 ° C, polypropylene is also used for pipes for hot fluids. It can be found in packaging for drugs, chemicals, and food that is sterilized or packaged while hot. It is used as a film because it has high transparency and good mechanical properties. It is also found in windows for envelopes, in self-adhesive tape, etc.
